Orion Intelligence Alarm Notification Program
Program description
Orion Intelligence provides SMS notification technology on behalf of licensed Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs).
This messaging program is used exclusively for transactional and emergency-related alarm monitoring communications for customers with an active monitored alarm service.
Messages may include:
- intrusion alarm notifications
- fire alarm notifications
- low battery alerts
- technical fault notifications
- system arm/disarm reminders
- monitoring response coordination messages
These communications are strictly operational and non-marketing in nature.
Opt-in
Customers opt in to receive SMS notifications during the onboarding process for their monitored alarm service through signed agreements, digital onboarding forms, or authenticated customer portals managed by their Alarm Receiving Centre.
By providing a mobile phone number and consenting to receive notifications, users agree to receive automated SMS communications related to their monitored alarm service.
Consent to receive SMS notifications is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency varies depending on alarm activity, system events, and monitoring requirements.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s wireless carrier and mobile plan.
