Orion Intelligence Alarm Notification Program

Program description

Orion Intelligence provides SMS notification technology on behalf of licensed Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs).

This messaging program is used exclusively for transactional and emergency-related alarm monitoring communications for customers with an active monitored alarm service.

Messages may include:

• intrusion alarm notifications
• fire alarm notifications
• low battery alerts
• technical fault notifications
• system arm/disarm reminders
• monitoring response coordination messages

These communications are strictly operational and non-marketing in nature.

Orion Intelligence provides this SMS notification program on behalf of Per Mar Security Services. All communications are sent exclusively in connection with Per Mar's alarm monitoring services.

Opt-in

Customers opt in to receive SMS notifications during the onboarding process for their monitored alarm service by signing a paper monitoring agreement with their Alarm Receiving Centre. Account holders confirm, by signature, that any listed emergency contacts have also agreed to receive alarm-related SMS notifications on their behalf.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies depending on alarm activity, system events, and monitoring requirements.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s wireless carrier and mobile plan.
